It was such a fun day. First, I rode with Milou, Caroline and Dan to an engagement session and I got to meet the couple too! They were nice and said I was cute.
And then we headed to a hunt test! I have never been to one and I had to ask what it was. So basically, it is when retrievers get to do what they are bred to do! They fetch ducks in the water. Well 2 ducks, first one to the right (and they have to swim to it and back), and then bring it back to the owner. And then the one of the left. It was very exciting! There were so many dogs. Lots of labs, golden retrievers and more!
I got to meet Caroline and Dan's friend, Miss Debbie, and I got to see Miss Xan again!! Miss Xan actually came by to visit us the other day too! Miss Debbie has 3 dogs, 2 of which are chocolate labs like me, so we got to hang out. One of Miss Debbie's dogs, Nalu, did so well today, I want to grow up just like her. She fetched her ducks and was super fast!
Miss Xan has 7 dogs. Trigger her little puppy was there today just to watch and we hung out. Delilah, Trigger's older sister, also did really, really well at the hunt test. They train once a week to fetch ducks in the open. It's so fun!!
Mom and Dad, don't be shocked at the ducks! They're not alive when the dogs fetch them!
